I’m hard-pressed to find something wrong with what Zahid Hamidi has said. At the same time, I think a corresponding request to the government is in order since, well, we’ve got to be consistent, right?

I mean, consistency would require prosecuting the racists at the UMNO General Assembly, not just a verbal ticking off for what were, essentially, slander and speeches tantamount to upsetting national stability.

Hang on, isn’t that a crime? Yes, I think it is. So as far as verbal ticking offs are concerned, if that’s what our best (i.e. politicians) deserve, the ones who should hold themselves to the highest standards, then that’s what bloggers deserve too.

A verbal ticking off, that is.

Oh, wait a second. Bloggers deserve a verbal ticking off if they have made statements that are of the same kind these politicians have made. That is to say, if bloggers don’t say the “correct” things, according to Zahid. “Correct”. An interesting word, don’t you think?

I’m so glad the government and the main stream media are the ones deciding what “correct” means…
