I’ll take it like a man (in the ass). I was wrong. Or wrong in part. And RPK was right! Badawi is getting married, to a Ms Jeanne Abdullah! No, no, not Jean Danker (Mediacorp personality, etc.) but a woman almost twice her age. I feel shamed, stripped of my dignity, etc. etc.
But still, why the hell are we giving two hoots about this marriage?! Yes, Jeanne Abdullah could be a (Russian) Spy ™ but I highly doubt it. All I wanna know now is if Badawi’s gonna take that Royal’s lead - payment for wedding, charity et al.
I wait with bated breath.

ha…no wonder the name Jean Danker sounded so familiar.
First time i heard about the news,i was shocked. lol I really thought it was Jean Danker (Mediacorp). So it kinda relief after i found out that the woman whom he’ll marry this Saturday is Jeanne Abdullah (Danker). Anyway,tahniah to Pak Lah. It is OK… after all, Jeanne was Endon’s sister in law…. maybe someone Endon trust her heart to take care of Pak Lah. God Bless!!
@boringest: ya man, I went complete ape-shit when I read RPK’s post saying “Jean Danker”.. I mean.. she’s kinda cute, but what would she want with Badawi?!
@chips: well.. yeah. At the end of the day, congrats to the PM. But man, Endon’s sister-in-law? I’m.. just.. well. well, just.. I don’t know. At this point, my dear old mum will say I should shut up and not speculate. :p
is this another of those ‘jump in the bandwagon’ post for bloggers? so i guess not to be left out, i should blog about it? i envy those who don’t have to work or can blog during office - they are always the first to blog on such news. me, must wait till late at night when at home.
as always, people speculate - it seems there are 2 sides to the story of jeanne (one you can read at RPK’s post) but i guess for now i’ll just wish the couple all the best and congratulate them.
@lucia: LOL… I wouldn’t have blogged about it if I was right in the first place :p In any case, yah, had to get out of the office first before I could blog about it (since there are spies ™ in the office!!!).
