I wanted to blog about that fool who was offended by the term “Birth of a Nation“, but realized that discussing the tragically stupid is like wanking: ultimately fruitless. The other bit that caught my eye was the tragic, brutal slaying of a 4-year-old little girl. It’s monstrous, and I don’t understand it. That someone would burn a little girl and scatter her ashes is just unimaginable.
“It’s ritualistic,” said M today.
“Oh? I hope the bastards choke on their own vomit and asphyxiate,” I said, and meant it. If it was indeed ritualistic, it was for no good purpose. If they wanted to kill someone, why resort to magic and rituals? Why not do it the old fashioned way, eh? Guns, bullets and fountains of blood - anything but killing a 4-year-old to get some woe-begotten spirit to do your dirty work.
If I had a daughter, I’d go insane if it happened to her. I think I would. I would want to murder the perpetrators, screw justice. There’s just no punishment remotely proportionate to the crime.
And it now seems the girl’s own mother may have been involved. The mother.
THE MOTHER.

it could be the mother’s obsessed love for the bf that she was willing to do anything. no doubt the bf murder the child but she knew about it and she try to cover him! that’s so disgusting! a murder planning together with the bf the murder of her child.
this happened in penang where i’m staying and i have been hearing lots of stories here and there.
yah, i read over at your blog that there were rumours circulating about the mother’s possible involvement prior to her arrest.. it’s too inhumane to contemplate.
