Spaceboy, up beyond the sky, so high. Launched from a rocket, paid from my pocket, spaceboy twirls in orbit, 475.4213 kilometers per nanosecond. Spaceboy’s in space twirling round and round like a top and weighing nothing. It’s goodly fun to be in space whirring round and round with the blue ball with streaks of snow and cloud. Spaceboy wears a flag and tells daddy he’ll be home soon. Spaceboy tells daddy he’s doing it for everybody, going in circles and circles up there beyond the sky.
Our eyes grow big and wide watching spaceboy in a rocket going to the stars. We’re in space with spaceboy tho’ we don’t know how we got there. We watch big red flames boiling and big white smoke puffing and the rocket lifts like a puppet with no strings and it floats and floats and floats then is gone like magic up in the sky. Spaceboy’s in space but we don’t know how we got there. Spaceboy’s like fireworks, going up and up and coming down like a comet, while mums iron clothes and watch the children play.

I’m sorry, desi.. I’ve been incommunicado for some time now. Apart from work and studies - which may not engender a good result - I’ve been off and on blogging for a few months now. Burnout, I suppose, and re-thinking what it is I do here.
And by “here”, I mean “Malaysia”.
I understand you’re based in KL? I’ll be heading up north your way in Dec to celebrate Christmas. I hope to meet you, Nat and others then (if possible).
