I suppose that’s what happens when real life catches up with you. One day you’re neck deep in the worst sort of shit imaginable and the next, you’re in the nation’s capitol, with a new life and a new everything.
It sorta gave me pause - a 5 month pause.
I find I have less to say, now, than ever. For various reasons.
One: in the heat of the “blogosphere’s” awakening, many politically-inclined bloggers found the balls, gumption or whatever you want to call it - well, they stepped out into the bright light of day. I can only wish them (you) well, and I must applaud your courage. I say this without sarcasm, and that’s because I want to wish you luck.
Because Najib’s in power.
Because, according to the MP from Jelutong, battalions of “tentera wataniah” are being deployed to all parliamentary constituencies.. to “keep the peace“. Our friend Jeff Ooi - no, not really my friend - fears they might join up with RELA (our - yes, we allowed it - our misbegotten thugs) to do god-knows-what.
“God-knows-what”? No, not quite. I have my own fears. Why is Jeff Ooi concerned about Najib further raping this country? No, I’m more concerned about men running about with batons in the middle of the night, dragging innocents from their beds.
